	OUR PROJECT \| THE TEAM \| ORIGIN OF THE PROJECT \| OUR COMMITMENT \| OUR LOCATION OUR PROJECT: ImagineOutlet.com is a retailer based on a Make to Order (Build to Order) model. We will group the individual orders of our customers into one production request that will be then be processed by our partner factories and workshops. In our business model there are no stocks of any kind. We do not sell unsold items since we only sell items produced after our customers have ordered them. The goods are shipped directly from our factories to the customers house. We can offer our customers real factory prices by working directly with factories and workshops that are familiar with the quality requirements of European markets. All our partners have been producing and exporting to Europe for years already. Our team will be involved during the whole manufacturing process (on the production lines during the production run and in quality control before the goods are shipped) so as to guarantee a maximum level of quality. We will showcase local and international designers and our customers will be able to decide which will be the items and creations that we will be selling in the future. They will be doing this by voting online for the products of their choice. An online contest with a development and retail contract for the winners will help to launch young talented designers. The votes of our customers will determine the winners of the contest. Exclusivity agreements with Scandinavian manufacturers producing in Vietnam enable us to offer our Spanish and French customers contemporary and designer furniture of the highest quality which until now was reserved to the northern European markets. THE TEAM: The persons behind the ImagineOutlet.com website have all worked in South East Asia for major international retailing firms. Our experience with the industrial sector of countries within this region (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia) covers all the technical, organisational, financial and logistical aspects of furniture manufacturing. The Spanish & French team gathers 20 years of experience in sourcing, production management and quality control with factories of this region. ORIGIN OF THE PROJECT: The obvious fact that the orthodox retailing model of buying, transporting and selling furniture made in Asia to european consumers is way past it’s time. The huge downturn in sales of classical retailers these last years reflects this quite clearly. No consumer can afford to continue paying prices in Europe that are three to five times higher than the selling price of factories in Asia, simply because all the different links of the supply chain (traders, producers, importers, wholesalers, retailers) must make their successive profits. OUR COMMITMENT: Real factory prices, a real Make to Order model like it has never been seen before. Sustainable development : All our suppliers are controlled regarding their raw material sources especially regarding wood. All wood used in manufacturing our furniture is 90% certified FSC and within one year we will be at 100%. The remaining 10% of wood that is not certified so far comes from sustainably managed plantations. We are committed to establishing a win-win relationship with our artisans, producers, creators and customers. OUR LOCATION: We have chosen to set-up operations from Vietnam and work in the South East Asia region because our priority, while being that of delivering real factory prices, is to work with factories of a limited size where we can guarantee the respect of the people working there, of the environment as well as a level of quality and craftsmanship that is cannot be acheived with output intensive production units. Low cost production models existing elsewhere in this continent imply daily outputs of thousands of units and quality of components and of finished goods becomes a secondary concern. By working with reasonably sized factories, many of which are actually workshops of talented artisans, we can produce our designers creations with more flexibility (limited series, products rotation, choice of raw materials –notably wood- according to natural resources availability).
